Back in the day, my sister and I often were visitors
to the kitchen view of an A & W Rootbeer stand that
was owned by a friend of our Dad. We would get to
sip an icy cold root beer on a Saturday night while
they talked (probably about jazz) and we watched
the bustle of the workers trying to keep up with a
constant stream of hot & thirsty customers.
